The Secret of Erdmannlistein

A comic based on a Swiss legend by Wanda Dufner

Wanda Dufner, born in 1992, graduated with a Bachelor in Illustration in 2017 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Since then she has been working as a freelance illustrator. In 2021, she won the Swiss Comics Scholarships to focus more on her work as a comic artist.

​

In her work 'The Secret of Erdmannlistein', she tells of a childhood experience that has remained strongly in her memory. Erdmannlistein is a rock formation located deep in a forest in Switzerland and is close to the artist's hometown. Numerous myths and legends revolve around this hidden place and make it coveted by researchers, esoterists, but it is also a place of recreation for families and an excursion destination for school classes.
